FIS Nordic World Ski Championships
February 26th – March 9th, 2025
The 2025 World Ski Championships will be held in Trondheim, Norway, from 26 February to 9 March. This will mark the second time the city organises the World Championships in Nordic skiing disciplines; the first time was back in 1997. The events will be held at Granåsen Ski Centre. This version of the championship will represent something quite different, as it will be the first World Ski Championships where the cross-country distances will be standardised for both men and women.
Sports enthusiasts, culture lovers, and families come together to experience a unique blend of sports, culture, and celebration. The championship area offers everything from thrilling action on the course and in the ski jumping arena to delicious meals and cultural highlights.
With various zones offering something for everyone, Granåsen is designed to provide an unforgettable experience. Explore the map to familiarize yourself with the courses and the rest of the championship area. This way, you can plan your visit and make the most of the festivities.
The distances for the races will be 10 km interval start, 20 km skiathlon (continuous pursuit), 50 km mass start and a 4 x 7.5 km relay.
