The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s best-known and most visited attractions. The journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 5–8 minutes. Fløibanen has carried over 50 million people to and from Mount Fløyen since it was first opened in 1918.

The funicular is open every day all year round.

How to get there:
On foot: Just a few minutes walk from “Bryggen” and the Fish Market.
By bus: The nearest bus stop is called «Torget» and from there it is only a few minutes walk. From Bergen Bus Station it will take you appox. 10 minutes to walk.
By boat: From “Strandkaiterminalen” port there is a few minutes walk. We are situated 20 minutes walk from “Jekteviken” port and 10-15 minutes from “Bontelabo” port.
By car: The closest parking house is Rosenkrantz parking 250 metres away.
