Transport
Gråkallbanen
The Gråkallbanen tramline has been a part of the public transportation system since 1924. The 8.8 km long line operates on narrow gauge tracks and runs from the city center to Lian on the outskirts of Trondheim. It’s the northernmost tramline of the world.
The tram runs on a regular basis, as often as every 15 minutes during weekdays, and takes approximately 20 minutes one way.
Boreal operates the Gråkallbanen tramway on behalf of AtB. AtB is owned by Sør-Trøndelag County Council and is responsible for providing public transport in and around Trondheim.
