Strand restaurant is a culinary home housing a restaurant, café with our own pastries and bread, banquet and meeting facilities and a big terrace facing the sea during summertime. You can even get here by boat as we have our own pier. The menus are changing weekly, and are based on the best seasonal products available from our small scale producers. We focus on organic, ethical food produced locally.

This is our natural filosophy:
• All foods are made without any artificial addings
• Everything is homemade from scratch
• The ingredients identity and structure are in focus
• We use no white sugar
• The food is paired with natural juices or nature wine
• We use mostly Norwegian and locally grown products
• Our cooking methods takes care of nutrients
• We use wild fish in season and only species that are not endangered
• No forcefed products, we worship animal welfare
• Natural food is etichal food
