Bien Litteraturhuset serves classic Norwegian food and drinks. We are located in Vågsbunnen, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.

Bien Litteraturhuset is located in Vågsbunnen, in the heart of the historic center of Bergen. The restaurant serves classic Norwegian dishes, based on local ingredients and our grandmothers’ recipes. Persetorsk (lightly cured cod fish), the world famous dish from Bergen is of coure on the menu.

Our vision is to present the best of western Norwegian ingredients in a classic Norwegian way. The menu consists of dishes such as Perse cod, plucked fish, meatballs and Scandinavian sandwiches,
The drinks menu is filled with local cider and beer in addition to classic wines.
You can sit at a table, with a view of the city’s alleys, or eat at the large bar and watch the chefs work in the kitchen.

Dinner: 4 pm – 9 pm
