The dive trip «Week 30» was arranged for the first time in 1985 and have since become a yearly tradition for all certified divers. Everyone with a certified sport-diving lisence can join the trip.

Week 30 is arranged in one of Norways most beautiful coastal area, Hitra. Hitra has a myriad of islands, reefs and islets, all within short range.

If you want an amazing diving experience sign up to this years Week 30! There will be several dives a day, throughout the week.

Practical Information

At arrival there will be some paperwork: registration, check of equipment, etc. Each day divers have to sign up to the dives they want to join. All dives will be posted on a board, where the participants must write both their name and their assigned diver-number. This number follows you during the whole trip. Use this number together with you name to sign up to all other events (competitions, feasts, etc) during the trip.

There is initially planned two dives on Saturday because of preparation to the Feast at 20:00. There will be arranged a lottery during the dinner with exciting prizes, Drysuit, Regulator and more!
Friday night there will be a seminar at 20:00.

Living Acommodation

The lodging is at Angleamfi Gresnevågen, apartments Rorbu 15-21. The apartments have space for 6 persons at 135 sqare meters.

Signup and price

The price for the trip will be NOK 6’500, where NOK 2’000 will be billed at the time of signing up, as a depositum.

Included in the price: Lodging, filling of tanks, guided dives, all boat trips, seminars and saturday’s feast. The apartments have complete kitchens and the participants must provide for their own food.

All participants must must show a diving-lisence (minimum Padi OWD or equivalent), and at least 10 logged dives.

For participants traveling from far away it is possible to sleep over from Tuesday to Wednesday. The extra sleepover is paid at arrival. Estimated price for extra sleepover is at NOK 350.

Bring your own linene/bead sheets if you do not want to rent them.

Marine Life

There are Monkfish, gaping Scallops and Flatfish, on large fields of sand. In the area outside Lyngvær there is also possible to see Thorny Skates and other Raja. Bring a net or harpoon to the fishing dives.
