Norway Husky Adventure

Norway Husky Adventure is based just north of Meråker at Bjørkslettet in Kopperå, 3 kilometres from Kopperå Train station and only 60 kilometres from Trondheim Airport Værnes.

Norway Husky Adventure was started in 2000. Bodil Bakken is the owner and has been a musher since 1990 and has participated in races in Norway and Sweden. Her partner, Jan Ove Moen is the kennels handy man, and together with other experienced guides, they will make sure you have an unforgettable wilderness experience.

Alaska husky is the name of the type of dogs we use. It is a mixed breed, made to be the fastest dog in the world over long distances. Alaska huskies originated in Alaska, and were a cross between the Inuit and Native American polar dogs. Today the Alaska husky is a cross between different polar breeds, different bird dogs, Greyhound, Border collie and others.
