Bygdøy Kongsgård
Bygdøy Kongsgård is Oslo’s largest organic milk producer, featuring a visitor farm, riding school, organic food production, and a greenhouse. We showcase both modern and historical agriculture and are uniquely located in central Oslo on Bygdøy. The property is owned by the state. H.M. The King disposes of the main building and Oscarshall Castle with associated parks, while Stiftelsen Norsk Folkemuseum has the right to dispose of the farm. Bygdø Royal Manor covers 2000 decares including forest and shoreline, of which 740 decares are cultivated land where feed is produced for the livestock on the farm.
