Galleri Semmingsen highlights Nordic artists and has sought to find the essence of Scandinavian contemporary art since the opening in 1999. The gallery mainly focuses on painting, but also represents artists who express themselves through photography, sculpture or works on paper. Visitors can find art in all price ranges, covering conceptual art through to the classically figurative. The gallery is in an old, quiet, and charming area of Oslo – Frogner, surrounded by other contemporary art galleries.
