It all started with a whirlwind, which turned into two and then into more. An idea for a living bakery. Floating flour, clinking rolling pins and crackling hot sugar straight from the oven. A lasting scent of what we love most. Real, honest and uncompromising pastries. Pastries baked with love. Love for the profession, love for our people and not least for all our dear guests.

You are what we bake for.
In 1979, a 15-year-old boy stood in the window of a pastry shop in the northern pedestrian street of Trondheim. Fascinated by the fine cakes and the atmosphere they made. This is where it all started. The interest in cakes and pastries became so great that shortly after, the same boy was in the basement as an apprentice.

The dream of a bakery with experience from both Norway and abroad has been there for a long time. The cakes are now on the shelf, it is snorrs and pastries that are now in focus now that Snurr has opened its doors.
