A pub with a royal history
Royal Gastropub is located in one of the most historic parts of Oslo’s Østbanehallen.
The building once housed the King’s private waiting room, and this historic space has become our Kongerommet. Today, the room is available for private dinners, celebrations, meetings and other events.
It’s a little piece of Oslo history – right in the middle of the city.

Shuffleboard, friends and a little competition
Looking for something to do between dinner and drinks?
Challenge your friends to a game of shuffleboard. It’s an easy way to add a little friendly competition to your evening, whether you’re visiting with friends, colleagues or family.

Summer at Royal
When the weather allows, our large outdoor terrace is one of the best places to enjoy Royal.
With around 200 seats and views towards the Oslo Opera House, it’s a great spot for lunch in the sun, an after-work drink or a long summer evening with friends.
