Located close to Oslo Cathedral, this is one of the oldest restaurant houses in Oslo, situated in a building that dates back to 1699. There is a Café, an a-la carte restaurant and a courtyard for outside dining during the summer months. The menus are based ’on traditional Norwegian ingredients. From mid October until Christmas, this is one of the most popular restaurants which serves traditional Norwegian Christmas food, such as the much-revered ’lutefisk’. Every Saturday, the Café hosts a mid-day jazz concert together with New Orleans Workshop Jazz Club. Free entry and no table reservations during the jazz concert.
